Organic food production is not a new thing. In fact it is what we all used to eat. It is food unnaturally grown with chemical fertilisers and repeated routine pesticide use that is new. Growers have in fact, over the years been thrown many incentives not to grow organic food.

After the 2nd world war the UK were insistent on to be self sufficient with the production of farmed produce. To help achieve this subsidies were offered and incentives to make higher yields. This conclusion offered an easy opportunity for chemical companies to sell more and more fertilisers and pesticides. Pesticide residues on vegetables have a number of known dangerous nutritional values for humans and they can be a cause of seriously ill and other diseases.

Organic food which is grown using upto only 4 naturally produced pesticides (non naturally farmed growers have an arsenal of regularly over 700 chemicals to choose from) is exclusively food that is grown naturally and traditionally and it is wrong to come to the conclusion that it is a new thing. It is in the scheme of things the non organic food that is the new thing.

Organic Food not only tastes better it is nutritionally finer to food grown using chemicals and pesticides. It is also proven to be far ever more beneficial to those eating it's health.
