Organic food farming is not a new system. In fact it is the food we all were accustomed to eat. It is produce grown with artificial fertilisers and routine pesticide use that is new. Farmers have in real terms, over the years been urged to take many incentives not to grow organically farmed food.

After the 2nd world war the UK were determined to be self sufficient using a system of the production of grown goods. To help achieve this subsidies were forced to take and incentives to elevate productivity. This offered an opportunity for farming chemical companies to introduce ever more and increasingly more fertilisers and pesticides. Pesticide residues on vegetables have a plethora of known dangerous properties for eating it and they can be a cause of cancer and many further serious diseases.

Organic food which is unnaturally grown using upto only 4 natural pesticides (non organic producers have an arsenal of over 700 chemicals to make their choice from) is merely food that is created naturally and traditionally and it is wrong to assume that it is a new fad. It is in fact the non organic vegetables and meat that is the new thing.

Organic Produce not just tastes better it is nutritionally superior to food grown using chemicals and pesticides. It is really proven to be far more beneficial to peoples health.
