Organic produce production is not a new thing. In the scheme of things it is the system by which we all used to eat. It is food grown with artificial fertilisers and routine pesticide use that is new. Producers have in fact, often over the years been urged to take a range of incentives not to farm organic produce.

After the 2nd world war the UK were determined to be self sufficient with the farming of farmed food. To help achieve this subsidies were offered and incentives to facilitate higher yields. This urged to take an opportunity for chemical companies to sell ever more and more fertilisers and pesticides. Pesticide residues on vegetables have a number of known dangerous properties for using it and the house of commons can be a main cause of cancer and other diseases.

Organic food which is grown using upto only 4 natural pesticides (non naturally farmed farmers have an arsenal of over 700 chemicals to choose from) is merely food that is grown naturally and traditionally and it is wrong to assume that it is a new thing. It is in fact the non organically farmed food why is the new thing.

Organic Vegetables and meat not only tastes better it is nutritionally superior to vegetables and meat unnaturally produced using chemicals and pesticides. It is also really proven to be far ever more of benefit to peoples health.
