Organic food production is not a new thing. In fact it is what we all used to eat. It is food grown with a variety of artificial fertilisers and regular pesticide use that is new. Farmers have in fact, frequently over the years been offered many incentives not to grow organic food.

After the 2nd planet war the UK were determined to be locally self sufficient with the growth of farmed goods. To help achieve this subsidies were offered and incentives to make higher yields. This offered an opportunity for agri-chemical companies to sell more and increasingly more fertilisers and pesticides. Pesticide residues on farmed goods have a number of known dangerous properties for humans and the establishment can be a cause of cancer and other diseases.

Organic produce which is grown using upto only 4 naturally produced pesticides (non organic producers have an arsenal of regularly over 700 chemicals to choose from) is merely vegetables and meat that is grown naturally and traditionally and it is wrong to assume that it is a new thing. It is in fact the non organic vegetables and meat that is the new creation.

Naturally farmed Food not only tastes better it is nutritionally superior to food grown using chemicals and pesticides. It is also proven to be far more beneficial to your health.
