Organic food production is not a new thing. In fact it is what we all used to eat. It is food reared with a variety of artificial fertilisers and repeated routine pesticide use that is new. Farmers have in fact, over the years been very forced to take a range of incentives not to grow chemical free vegetables and meat.

After the 2nd world war the UK were insistent on to be self sufficient by using the as a food growth method of farmed goods. To help growers achieve this subsidies were offered and incentives to increase yields. This tempted with an excellent opportunity for chemical companies to sell more and more fertilisers and pesticides. Pesticide traces on food vegetables have a range of established worrying properties for humans and the government can be a cause of cancer and other diseases.

Organic food which is grown using upto only 4 natural pesticides (non organic farmers have an arsenal of repeatedly over 700 chemicals to make their choice from) is only merely food that is grown naturally and traditionally and it is an error to make the assumption that it is a new fad. It is in the scheme of things the non organic produce that is the new creation.

Organic Food not only tastes the most healthy it is nutritionally superior to food grown using harmful chemicals and pesticides. It is also really shown to be far more beneficial to your health.
